I received my long anticipated black grape cluster earrings today and thank you. I love them! I was concerned about UPS leaving the package unattended but I must say UPS was superbly cooperative and sent the route driver a message telling the driver to deliver with a signature required. UPS even called me back to say the driver had received that message! So USP is my "Brown" hero now!

Just wanted to let you know how happy I am with my tiny coin pearl earrings! When I first opened the box I thought, oh ok yeah they're pretty. But after wearing them a couple times, I found myself reaching for them almost every day. I just love them. They suit many more outfits than I thought they would - they have pretty much replaced standard silver hoops.

When I came home from work yesterday, I was surprised to find my order from you had already arrived. There was the little box from Kate Hines!, and I could barely “save it for dessert.” When I finally opened it I was astonished at how much nicer, more elegant, more lovely the earrings are than I could have imagined – even after years of longing gazes at The New Yorker ads.
Thank you so much. I’m delighted. Just FYI, this wasn’t just a splurge on self-adornment, though it was indeed a long wished-for treat. The fact is that I need to find the “right thing” to wear to a distinctive and difficult ceremony in two weeks. My late father’s ashes will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery; he served in the last year of WW2, and this was long his wish – plus it’s apparently not easy for just any veteran to “get into” Arlington. I’m traveling to join the rest of my family, who all live far away from me, for the ceremony – complete with honor guards, the gunfire salute, the flag, and, God help me, “Taps.”
Perhaps the least of my concerns ought to be what to wear. But what do you wear to convey respect but hope at such a sad place, but at the most beautiful time of year?I settled on a slim plum-colored jacket and slacks. I didn’t want to overdo on jewelry, but what goes with plum? Stones are too flashy; I have my nice white wedding pearl earrings but they’re, well, white, and larger.
Then I realized small blush colored drop pearls were just the right note of dressy but without calling attention to themselves. I just got my tax refund, and well, that was that.
So thank you very much. I love that you mainly/only seem to advertise in The New Yorker, which has always made me feel like I “subscribe” to a certain kind of taste, art, and style, at least the appreciation of it if seldom the budget for it!
I plan to wear them with good memories of my Dad, and regular appreciation for your style, care, and artistry.

Likewise, it was wonderful to have a personal moment with a representative of a trusted vendor. I discovered Kate Hines' Pear Puddles in the New Yorker. Since early adolescence I've found the magazine's pages to hold some of and give exposure to the most unique merchandise of phenomenal quality. There is no way I'd have discovered you or USCanteen. I tire easily of franchise merchandise. My local jeweler is representative to many mainstream vendors (Coin, Kay, Yurman, etc.), and I crave gifts without competition locally. Thus...Kate Hines.
The small private school I own gives me occasion to proudly gift our board members, accountant and such. I've given one of your bracelets to my best friend. I plan to gift myself for the first time with these Double Puddle earrings. The jewelry is ALWAYS a source of smiles, hugs and squinched-face squeals!
